1. Editing User Control Settings

There are two main methods that can be used to edit the settings of a user control added to the screen.

Method Description
Settings Table When a user control is selected, its editable properties can be modified through the settings table displayed on the right.
Quick Settings Table The required modifications can be made through the quick settings table that opens by right-clicking the selection line of the user control.
Quick settings table: This method is particularly useful for providing quick access to user control settings when using independent and full-screen editing modes.

The available editing options in the quick settings table window and the functions of the buttons in the window can be explained in the relevant detailed documentation.

2. Changing the Position of a User Control on the Screen

After selecting a user control, click and hold the left mouse button on the control and move it to the desired position on the screen using drag and drop.

ATTENTION: The boundaries of the valid area that can be used on the screen are indicated by a dotted red line. User controls must be positioned within these boundaries.

3. Changing the Size of a User Control

When a user control is selected, its size can be changed using the handles displayed on the selection box. The resizing operation is performed by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the relevant handle and using drag and drop.

Using this method, the width and height of the user control can be changed in different directions according to the requirements of the screen design.

4. Quick Multiple Selection of User Controls

Instead of selecting a large number of user controls individually, multiple controls can be quickly selected at once by using a selection rectangle.

  1. Click and hold the left mouse button at a suitable point in the upper-left area of the screen.
  2. Drag the mouse toward the lower-right direction so that the user controls are enclosed within the selection area.
  3. The user controls located within the resulting rectangle are selected in a single operation.
Purpose: This speeds up the selection process when multiple user controls need to be selected simultaneously and provides the basis for batch editing operations.

5. Changing Settings for Multiple User Controls

When user controls of the same type are selected together, their common settings can be changed simultaneously through the settings table on the right.

Basic usage: Select user controls of the same type in a group → Change the relevant property in the settings table on the right → Apply the change to the selected controls.

This approach allows common settings of multiple controls with similar properties to be updated in a single operation instead of editing each control individually.

6. Grouping User Controls

User controls can be combined into a group so that they move together. To do this, select the user controls to be grouped and click the GROUP button on the quick access button bar.

The Group ID information of the group to which the user controls belong is displayed in the upper-left corner of the controls.

User controls belonging to the same group move together as if they were a single user control.

NOTE: Data information associated with user controls in the same group can be changed independently. Grouping allows the controls to move together while still allowing their associated data information to be edited independently.

7. Ungrouping User Controls

To ungroup a user control group, select the relevant group and click the UNGROUP button on the quick access button bar.

When the group is ungrouped, the Group ID information displayed in the upper-left corner of the user controls is removed. The user controls then operate again as independent objects.

8. General User Control Editing Workflow

Step Operation
1 Select the user control or user controls to be edited.
2 Edit the control properties using the settings table on the right or the quick settings table.
3 Change the position of the user control on the screen if necessary.
4 Change the size of the control using the handles on the selection box.
5 When multiple controls of the same type are required, use multiple selection and batch setting changes.
6 Group controls that need to move together using the GROUP operation.
7 When necessary, remove the group structure using the UNGROUP operation.
Documentation approach: This page provides an overview of user control settings, positioning, sizing, multiple selection, and grouping operations. Specific options in the quick settings table and other detailed usage steps can be explained in separate technical documents.
